Value Innovation Labs is looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure & Network Support Engineer to manage end-to-end IT operations, preventive maintenance, and user support for enterprise IT environments.
Scope of Work & Responsibilities
🔹 Preventive Maintenance
Perform monthly preventive maintenance of IT systems
Cover servers, switches, Wi-Fi access points, CCTV, firewalls, UPS, and access control systems
Submit detailed maintenance summary reports after each cycle
🔹 Breakdown & Incident Support
Respond to and resolve breakdowns as per defined SLAs
Conduct daily online health checks for:
Firewalls
Network switches
Wi-Fi access points
CCTV and access control systems
Share daily health check reports with the IT team
🔹 Hardware Warranty Management
Coordinate with OEMs and authorized vendors for warranty repairs/replacements
Track warranty claims, timelines, and vendor communications
🔹 Network & System Support
Network and VLAN configuration & troubleshooting
Firewall, VPN, and Wi-Fi support
CCTV system maintenance
UPS monitoring and power backup assurance
Access control system administration and user management
🔹 IT Configuration & Asset Management
Configure internet and network devices
Maintain and update IT asset inventory (laptops, desktops, servers, printers, network devices, peripherals)
Document configuration changes and asset movements
🔹 User & Desktop Support
L1/L2 support for laptops and desktops (hardware & software)
Printer and scanner support
Network and firewall-related issues
Installation and setup of approved applications
System preparation and end-to-end IT support
🔹 Reporting
Daily: Online health check reports
Incident-based: RCA and resolution reports
Monthly: Preventive maintenance and summary reports
Service Level Expectations
Critical Incidents: Response within 2 hours | Resolution in 4–6 hours
Major Issues: Response within 4 hours | Resolution within 1 business day
Minor Issues: Response within 1 business day | Resolution within 2 business days
Required Experience & Skills
Strong hands-on experience in IT infrastructure, networking, and end-user support
Expertise in firewalls, switches, Wi-Fi, CCTV, UPS, and access control systems
Experience handling SLAs, incident management, and preventive maintenance
Ability to work independently and ensure service continuity
Relevant IT certifications preferred
Additional Responsibilities
Ensure confidentiality and security of organizational data
Adhere to IT security standards and local regulations
Provide backup support during team member absences
